Somaspace Pilates Rebrand

Had another fun opportunity for a rebrand. This time for a great little Pilates shop located in Austin, TX. They pride themselves on their highly personalized approach and desired a mark in a hand lettered style that evoked a sense of balance, movement and grace.

They were also interested in exploring letter pressed printing techniques(woot!) for their biz cards and gift certificates. We ultimately decided on an elegant, two-plate approach utilizing a subtle ‘blind press’ to call out the individualized, handwritten elements that are filled in later on via the owner.

Ecuador Eco Identity Rebrand

Had the great opportunity to volunteer and work with Ecuador Eco, an adventure tourism company that also operates a low cost volunteer org out of Riobamba, Ecuador. It was important to the client that the two new identities work well together since both orgs work out of the same office. So, after discovering the numerous elements of symmetry in the brainstorming/sketching process, the final logos came together rather quickly and we were all excited with the result.

Livescribe FB “Workday Characters”

Client tasked us to create a fun, shareable experience through their Facebook page. So, we decided to play off the variety of workday personalities we all take on, as a fun device to spread the word about Livescribe’s smartpen technology.

Hand drawn icons representing characters ranging from positive (The Hammer, The Machete) to humorous (The Brown Noser, The Aftermath) were created to add fun visuals to personalized comments that colleagues would send to each other throughout their work day.

So if you wanted to send a note to your colleague about his late arrival that morning because of a crazy happy hour from the night before. You’d attach “The Aftermath” (hungover) icon to your message.

Livescribe “Hello” Campaign

Livescribe smartpens let you capture words, diagrams, scribbles, symbols and audio - syncing everything you hear to what you write. This allows users to write less and listen more – knowing the smartpen will capture everything.  You can also transfer your notes to your computer, search for key phrases and create custom virtual notebooks to better organize your notes.

The friendly “Hello” campaign was conceived to simply and beautifully showcase the high-tech product in action while highlighting a variety of user scenarios in an approachable way.

MLF “I Am Here” Campaign

Donations to organizations focused on homelessness account for only 1% of the total philanthropic dollars each year.

Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF), an Austin-based nonprofit that provides food, clothing and homes to the homeless,  was looking for a way to break through that barrier of invisibility, raising awareness about homelessness and the mission of the organization.

I was fortunate to work with T3 on the Billboard and PSA of this pro-bono campaign. It was an incredibly fulfilling project that ultimately raised national awareness for MLF’s mission and put Danny Silver and his wife Maggie, a local homeless couple, into a home.

Livescribe “Burden Ball” Campaign

Livescribe smartpens let you capture words, diagrams, scribbles, symbols and audio - syncing everything you hear to what you write. This allows users to write less and listen more – knowing the smartpen will capture everything.  You can then transfer your notes to your computer, search for key phrases and create custom virtual notebooks to better organize your notes.

The “Burden Ball” campaign was conceived to playfully highlight the mass amounts of scattered information we’re all expected to know, remember and recall in our day to day lives, and how the Livescribe smartpen can help alleviate some of that burden.

Dell “You Amplified” Campaign Pitch

Client tasked us to create a campaign around the potential new tagline of “You Amplified.”

Decided to test the legs of the campaign by using Dell’s affordable Inspiron™ line of computers, with a productivity spin. With a fast and efficient computer, you have more time to pursue the interests most important to you. Carpe Diem.

Rich Media OA:
Video Ads showcase a person pursuing their passions. The crazy visual is what they’re seeing in their mind’s eye. On rollover, the manifestation morphs into the actual person who then playfully reacts to your interruption. Ends with the character pulling down a shade, which is the final frame & art card.

MicroSite:
Working with projectionists around the world, a Live 24-Hour site asks users to ‘amplify’ themselves by submitting photos and artwork that are then projected onto famous locations around the globe. Photos of each submission are taken by onsite photographers, added to an online gallery, and emailed back to each submitter to share via social media.

UPS Capital Site Design & Animation

UPS Capital, a UPS company, is focused primarily on providing financial services to businesses whose supply chains span international borders, such as U.S. based businesses that manufacture or import goods overseas for sale in the U.S.

Was tasked with redesigning their website as well as creating content for their sales teams to reach out to new clients. Because of their complex offerings, we decided to create three short, animated videos to sum up their main services.

Crocs “Happily Offending Fashion” Pitch

Client wanted to see a fun campaign that acknowledged the love/hate relationship that many people have for Crocs footwear. To keep a positive spin, I focused the campaign on empowering, anti-fashion-establishment messaging to embolden Crocs’ buyers. The copy was created using hand cut foam and was meant to be made from Croc’s proprietary, textured ‘croslite’ material if the concept was chosen. The letters would then be physically hung around the models to create a very real, bold and tactile campaign.

T3 Hiperwall

Was tasked with creating an engaging design and content strategy for T3’s video wall, located in the Austin office’s main entry way. It needed to be topical and relevant to passing employees, as well as informative and impressive to current and potential clients.

Split into three separate, modular pieces for easy updating, the wall’s content changes if any prospective or current clients are visiting the Austin Office.

Perimeters Geo Fencing

Perimeters™ is a technology platform that allows brands and marketers to define, create and execute location-based marketing campaigns by building geo-fences, or perimeters, around physical locations. Perimeters allows marketers to enable their existing mobile applications or websites to deliver compelling experiences, such as coupons, audio and video content, social shopping events, or downloads as a consumer enters or exits a perimeter. Dell Adamo Teaser Launch

Client’s luxury laptop, The Adamo, was released under the campaign of “True Love.” Goal was to create a microsite that prompted people to tell the world their true love. Everything from their spouse to their favorite dessert. Each post created a tiny pinhole to slowly reveal the new Adamo laptop prior to launch. To increase revisits, imagery changed throughout the day, as well as the color scheme depending on if you visited during the day or night.
